Dear Parents and Loved Ones,
My heart is full right now for the missionaries of this mission and their loved ones who support them. I hope you will forgive me if my words to you are short this month. If you read my statement to the missionaries you will hopefully understand that I don’t have much more to add than what has been said.
As I mentioned in my last correspondence to you, we have increased the number of missionaries by nearly fifty percent from a year ago. There are a few more challenges to deal with than before. We have young missionaries who have limited experience on their own now training new missionaries. That is just how it is with so many coming to us so rapidly and in large numbers. However, with all that said, Sister Crawford and I are still touched and lifted every time we get with the missionaries. We get emotional around them. We recently concluded Zone Conferences and we marvel at their goodness. We have a constant and never ending struggle to help them get better in their finding and teaching, but it is a struggle that we welcome and thrive under. We love these missionaries. We love them for their strength and we love them in their personal challenges because we have faith in them and we rejoice in their growth.
Lift them with your letters. Talk little about home. Talk about what you are learning and how you are growing as well.
Sister Crawford and I are grateful for our calling to serve with these mighty young men and women who love the Lord.
Thank you for your support.
